4.3 Real Time Clock

The Trim-Slice RTC is implemented with the EM Microelectronic EM3027 IC that provides clock

and calendar information in BCD format. The EM3027 is connected to the I2C-2 port of the Tegra2

SoC. The on-board backup battery keeps the RTC running to maintain clock and time information

whenever the main Trim-Slice power supply is not present.
